Quick answers to the questions we get asked most.

General

What is Project Prophecy?

Project Prophecy is a gaming-focused social platform and community built to connect players, creators, teams and gaming communities in one place.

Members can create profiles, connect with other gamers, join or create teams, participate in community features, use creator tools and much more.

Our goal is to build something bigger than a traditional gaming community — a platform designed around gaming, creativity, competition and bringing people together.

Is Project Prophecy an esports team or a gaming community?

Project Prophecy is the overall gaming platform, community and brand.

Team Prophecy is our official gaming and content team operating within Project Prophecy. You do not need to be a member of Team Prophecy to join or use the platform.

You can view the official Team Prophecy roster here.

No.

Project Prophecy originated in Australia and has a strong Australian and OCE community, but the platform is open to gamers around the world.

Our long-term goal is to build a global gaming platform and community.

How is Project Prophecy different from Discord or other gaming communities?

Project Prophecy is designed specifically around gaming rather than simply being a chat platform.

Alongside social features, Project Prophecy brings together player profiles, teams, private messaging, group chats, forums, tournaments, brackets, creator tools, community systems and other gaming-focused features under one platform.

Discord remains an important part of our community, but Project Prophecy is intended to provide features that go far beyond a traditional Discord server.
